• You can use un-evolved superiors as well
• Held items are okay
• Health items are not okay
• You must post your team the day before the tournament (you can do so sooner but then people might have an advantage after seeing it)

for example, I currently use water type monster and the foe is electric type monster, then I change my water type monster with ground type monster..

There doesn't seem to be any rule saying otherwise so I think it is safe to assume you are allowed to switch within the battle. I believe Uncle is just trying to say no switching monsters in between battles. You make a team of 6 monsters and those are the monsters you will use throughout the entire tournament.

Yes, my team haven't completed now but I already have the list of monster I want to use, I will get them soon..
TP training is the hardest part I think, I hope you don't change the tournament regulation because there are only a little participants like your "superior/unevolved emissary tourney"..
