As for the fourth idea, that shouldn't be too hard, one could just open photoshop and apply a layer/ use a colour inversion tool and it should be done.

a gradient layer design 240x240 pixel darker and i can apply it with opacity

I really like the option to turn the animation off.
Also, I like the simplicity of the animation--too complex of animated images might slow down the browser, but as it is, the game seems to continue at the same speed, which is great
To be honest, I'm not a complete fan of the animations as is.

The animations seem to lag behind actions; I would find myself waiting for a mon's image to move to attack the next mon sent in rather than the mon I attacked... Also, having every animation exactly the same doesn't seem that interesting :/
I'm sorry if I come across as a bit cynical of this, but since this is a new idea, I'm sure it will be improved in the future!

Until then however, my animations stay off

I tried to make a lightning bolt come from a friendly monster to an enemy but it didn't look that great. I need more practice/time before I can do things like that x.x (I'll try again this weekend though)
As for the status problem, would it be just a solid color/gradient overlay? It seems like in order for it to look good you would have to do it for each individual monster.(Which I could do, it would just take time.)
I'm making the arrows for a status change, it could only play once or maybe 2 or 3 times, let me know what you guys think before I do all of them. These ones specifically are speed status changes for the enemy monster and it would be flipped for your monster (or it could be the other way around)

I think the default for the battle animation should be turned off.. or a cookie to remember the setting. Either way, it's not a major annoyance, but I always turn them off.

actually i am planning to add
damage rise up as a red balloon and hp rise up as a green balloon

Monster battle would be nice if there was music add to it
Control panel options:
Battle animation always on/off.
Surely I can't be the only person who just always has to turn it off?
I do that when I'm tping a monster
