Alright people i am working on new technologies to improve my skills for V3 design.
I recently come up with animation tech. It is supported by new browsers.
So added a simple battle animation.
It can be turned off.
Do you like them ?
It is not supported at PVP battles right now.
It clearly displays who hits first, and which monsters miss.
Nice job cef. Keep working on it.

btw, when you attack and kill a monster, is the monster that switched in meant to hit your mon like the image just hovers over your monster

Yeh i noticed that too.. first it scared me because it seemed like i "lost" a turn.. but idk, maybe it is supposed to be like when you throw out a new pokemon in the pkmn series

If you're going to include battle animation,s my question would be: Do they start out on or do they start out off by default?
considering everyone in chat was like "doushio is this animation stuff" I'd say default is on.

Are you going to encourage people to make their own plugins for browsers to add custom animations and whatnot? A modding community for client-side things might encourage some growth and fun.
Plus it would give people something to do. the mods might even give us new ideas for things to use in the game.
... Not that you can really stop them from using mods client-side, since something like that would be undectable.

The animation from my point of view shows a physical attack.
My suggestions:
1: Maybe an animation for special attack could be like a fireball for fire attacks, a water shot for water, a lightning for electric and so on.
2: for status problems maybe turning the monsters into colors (only when they receive the status problem): purple (poison) red (bleeding) yellow (paralyzing)...
3: for status changes maybe a group of little arrows pointing down/up (increasing/decreasing) with different colors for every stat.
4: Turning the monster into a dark color when it´s defeated.

This.. is a great idea.
The colors for (2) aren't necessary for me, just the sign of status inflicted. But all others are superb.
