It's a nice drawing. However I think it's missing a pose, maybe that's why people feel like it's lacking detail. I think the detail is just fine. I love the added symbols by the way.

Ghost, might sound good to you, my next guys are *somewhat* turtles..

Those final turtle Monsters are awesome and (if I could make a suggestion) if you shortened their tails to Turtle sized tails (very short; cause there isn't anything special going on with the tail) then they would definitely look like turtles. Great design, keep it up.

EDIT: Personally, the computer lineart ruined the pencil original. The original's neck became way too high, so I tried to edit it out with the computer... it came out worse :/ Here's the origin:
