if it is based mostly on the element you control you can do just about anything certain things need an influence to perform, so yes you can control darkness in that fasion (i like having complete customization even when there is a base involved so any darkness power from any game/anime/etc. can be done just remember to involve a source for things like black lightning (yes this is an attack that i made up) where you need an energy type source

this goes to everyone if i can consider it to be at least 80% your elemental type you have as much or little power your element can use (i have to make it a large amount for it to make sense)

anything 50% or lower you have to include a source for the other type this source may be any other elemental or a large amount of any given element in question (e.g. blizzard is ice 50% and wind 50% so for an ice user you need a large wind source and vice versa for wind users)

also i want to think about what element i am before i speak it in the story in case you wonder why i haven't said my type (wall of text is wall)

so please if you want to know about using certain powers pm them if you can
