The wiki is coming along great with everyone's help. I'm hoping to have it (with your help) at least 90% complete by the end of this week (Sunday night, to be exact). Let's all work hard and get it done so we can start getting this out to new players when they sign up and not have to answer so many questions!

Tell that to the 10+ new people I send there every day who love it because they were tired of not getting questions answered in the game.

Or tell that to the players who have to answer question like "Where is the Monster Center? How do I change my monster team? How do I catch monsters? What does XXXXX mean?"

This game does need a guide/wiki, and now it has one.

Well, the wiki is finished. There may be some new pages/things added to it as new ideas come to me and as things need to be changed, but everything that you need to know to play the game is now there

And orbo, every major game out there has a guide on their web site that tells people about classes, races, moves, abilities, maps, monsters, etc etc..... They still have a very successful forum that is used as well. This is no different than that, it is a guide that will be part of the game, it's just made in wiki format instead of on the actual site so that it allows players to change the information instead of putting the burden on CeFurkan. The wiki will not have a discussion/forum page so they will be forced to come to the forums here to discuss anything, so in no way is this going to hurt the forum other than not as many people are going to post questions in the FAQ.

Again, I'll say, every major game has a guide. If we wanted Monster MMORPG to be great, we needed a guide. We were losing players because they didn't know how to play the game, and most players will not go to a forum and search around all over for the exact information they need, they will get frustrated and leave.

For example, we get asked a lot "How do I catch a monster?"

The player can go to the forums and either do a simple search of catching which will produce:

And none of the posts on the first page discuss on the exact methods of catching a monster

This isn't all the information in the game and leaves a lot of unanswered questions, and still requires searching, knowing where to search (which they probably won't), and multiple clicking.

On the other hand, if someone gets a message in their mailbox when they start the game that leads them to this page:

All they'll need to do is hover over Monster MMORPG, hover over Guides, click Catching... and they have all the information on catching they will ever want. As well as everything else in the game.

That is the purpose to this wiki.
