Lol, too easy.

How about the NPC named CeFurkan that has a full team of level 100's with stats at 999. If you beat it you win 3 million.
That will take like 30min at the minimum to kill tho D:

how about we have a doppleganger npc

example i log on to the game and i would be able to fight myself.

the npc would be named Guider but only I would be able to fight/encounter/see it's the account logged on.

you could choose your team for it but,the team can't be lower then level 90.

the teams you can set up for it would have to depend on your strongest monsters,or the toughest walls, in example you wouldn't be able
to set up all level 100 team with monsters that are steadfast natures.

the team can be changed daily weekly monthly or yearly, depending on your call.

reward minimum would be 500k maximum would be 2 mill oh and you could only fight yourself 1 time a day.

Dont mess with the Samu or else you'll be left to rott in the Sanzu.

Hotkeys, anyone? Basically, a hotkey for each of the options in the box under your screen.
1- Regular net
2- Quality net
3- Perfect net
4- Monster Player
5- Monster Radar
6- Rematch Activator
And then possibly letters for inv, messages, map, dex, team
When I'm playing at night when my family is asleep, my brother will sometimes come in my room and say "CLICK QUIETER...."
Thanks.

Hi, I've only started playing recently and I might have an idea to add to the game. Monster contest halls. Not sure if it has already been suggested, but here it goes.

The main idea is to have a few monster halls where you have to battle against npc. The battle would not reward any exp, TP or money. Instead they would award tokens matching the hall you're in. These tokens could be turned in for rewards like MT moves held items and some exclusive monsters. Currently all monsters are found in the wild and all items are sold in every store, it gives little challenge and diversity. This would spread out the monsters and items, making them more difficult to obtain.

The Halls could look like this:

Bronze Hall: Regular only - Lv Cap: 50 - Rewards Rare Superior Monsters and held items.

Silver Hall: Superior only - Lv Cap: 70 - Rewards Rare Emissary Monsters and MT moves.

Gold Hall: Emissary and Zenith only - Lv Cap 100 - Rewards Rare Zenith Monsters (Maybe one Legendary) and the best MT and held items.

Bonus Hall, Starters only -Lv Cap:100 - Rewards all the Starters at high prices.

It would be great if the monsters could be randomly selected from a pool filled with well trained Monsters with good working move sets to really make this a diverse challenge. You might add to choose from 1vs1 (rewarding 1 Token), 3vs3 (rewarding 4 Tokens) and 6vs6 (rewarding 10 Tokens). A daily cap might be need however.

Please let me know what you think of it.

You know in Pokemon they have that arcade and you can get tokens and exchange them for items or Pokemon? Somehow like that but you will have to battle NPCs to get the tokens
But TsukiraLuna, the Starter hall is a no-no
Also, how about their natures? Random? 25 UVs each? What?

Hi,

I havent played for too long and didn't see this written anywhere else but:

Please add something to the encounter box that lets you know if you have that monster or not, like a little red box or something is all you need.

Change the monsterdex to where when you transform your monster from one stage to the next, the box that says you have one is still red, or atleast a different color, so when I run through my monsterdex looking for monsters I have yet to catch, I dont catch ones I already have and transformed.

I know you are probably going to do this, but have certain areas have only certain types of monsters. Like a volcano map with just fire monsters, a dojo with just fighting monsters, so on and so forth, with tiers to the rooms so that there are higher level areas.

Monster Casino:

Slot machines where you can win tokens for stuff (like mentioned above), various other games, maybe build some standard card games into this game with specialized "monster" decks.
Monster races! Players can pit their monsters against each others in various categories, such as speed, maybe tps and various other things, just to bring some more player vs player action besides trainer vs trainer battles, different player activities than just normal battling.
Monster Coliseum: Players can pit their monsters against other players monsters in an AI controlled duel, meaning the AI controls both players monsters. If anyone remembers FFVI's (FFIV for some) coliseum, then you know exactly what I mean.

Basically, the casino is a good way to make a distinction between cities, make a large city, and work tons of minigames into the larger game while also bringing more player vs player action without dueling which can be kind of boring.

Also, one last thing I know the developers will hate, but I love it in games when the developers keep everyone notified on what they are actively working on. This means maybe once a day or even twice a week they write down what they are working on the week, their goal deadline and just post it somewhere so we can stay informed on whats being worked on and get excited for whats coming up.

Thanks!

I think the creators of this MMO need to get ahold of the creators of the now shut down MMO "Pokénet". Unfortunately they were shut down due to copy-write issues.
Pokénet has a whole engine that would support the world, the monsters and all of the mechanics that this mmo currently has. It ran on just about any machine as well. In my opinion that engine is EXACTLY what you guys need. If anyone else agrees, make a thread, as I can't as of yet.
Here is a link on Joystiq which has a video of the game and engine in action.

No comments on my idea? I thought it was pretty slick. I mean it's not like they are using those resources anymore.
#51
interesting. that would be sweet to somehow adapt monstermmorpg into that kind of mmo world, i don't know how plausible it would be. You can make a thread about it though once you get one more post.

Oh, is it going to be smoother, and not have to change page when you battle? Just wondering.

Hi. I am new here, but I have the feeling there is not very much background in the game. Maybe the background could benefit from ideas of users. I would suggest a background story for the Fakemon. There could be a little text in the MonsterDex for the Monsters you have seen and an text addition for those you own.

Also there could be more story to the npcs. Now they are just there to battle. but they dont even talk to you, do they?

Also some Signs for the Routes and Towns would be nice. Anything to make this world more alive. I have the feeling its just about collecting and battling, I miss background.

I myself like to write such things. Maybe there are more users who would like to write a little text for a MonsterDex article.
#56
Background story has been suggested.
I like trainer npcs having their own little stories/blurbs. The signs would be cool as well.

Has anyone suggested adding a trading element to the game? For ex buying 40 goods to sell to another town for a profit.

To attract and hold new players, the game needs a storyline.  After all, Pokemon has a storyline.

working on it carlosaurus

on zscout thats been suggested too

A way the mmo could make money and advertise at the same time is to sell posters with game art on them. There would be 3 sizes: small, medum and large. Also if the artist was willing they could do commissions for up to 3x the normal price. I know I would really like to hang a poster of my team on the wall. Would anybody else want to?
