(Really surprised people care about flavor text. XD)
Wilitus might not be big, or imposing, or poisonous, or any of those things normally associated with power and destruction, but it is that very same misleading cuteness that has them cause more human deaths than even the much larger monsters in its same area. It beguiles travelers, passers by, and especially children into picking it up, taking it home, and giving it a free meal before bringing to light it's incredible fire and electric abilities. Thankfully, these beasts are few in number, but as a side-effect, many people believe them to only be an illusion or a fairy tale. Were there better education about these petite powerhouses, tens of house fires could be avoided each year.

Magnilok, one of MaticCorp's first ventures into cybernetic defense. And a successful one! He was created as a defense against break-ins to the elusive company's R&D lab. (Several times they've been targeted for their computer systems and ... 'projects'.) Armed with a plasma cannon and hard-wired to follow its superior's orders, Magnilok was an impressive and compact defense machine. It wasn't long before orders came in by the thousands, people all wanting their own robotic defense. MaticCorp did its best to keep up with the orders, but ultimately ended up outsourcing the building and maintenance of this new "monster". You know, and then China started making them for cheaper. XD WHOO! \o/ *was all serious, but totally dropped the ball there*

I'll add a story for Wilitus in a second. First, parrots. EEEE, PARROTS. 8B
They
travel in massive flocks of up to 2,000 members in search of seeds and
small bugs. When a predator comes near, these parrot-like monsters jump
into flight, and with their sheer numbers it is usually enough to dizzy
any foe. The five multifaceted jewels on their chests serve as an
indicator of their health, for a healthy Budgeet's gems will literally
glow with health. Once old enough to start a family of their own, it is
not uncommon for a Bugeet to transform into it's next stage along with
its mate and separate from the flock.
Conurrot is a clever little beast, commonly found in small groups of 2-5
digging into human-business. They are absolutely fascinated by the
funny little nick-knacks and electrified objects that human beings have
created over the years. If they've managed to acquire one of these
things it is often torn apart and investigated thoroughly. You can tell
when you are under a Conurrot's nest, as a pile of broken junk usually
decorates the forest floor beneath. They mate for life, choosing their
partner in their Budgeet stage and staying with them all the way through
to their Prismacaw level to death. Budgeet caught at a young age will
often bond instead to their captor, but with the same level of
dedication and love.
Prismacaw is a wise bird - they've not survived their more vulnerable
Budgeet and Conurrot stages for nothing, you know. They garnish upwards
of 12 gems on their bodies, each radiating from a central multi-colored
one on their chest. Prismacaw is capable of projecting images with their
gemstones, a different color emanating from each of the smaller stones.
They make large nests in the tops of trees along with their life-bond,
raising their young in relative safety. Though, sadly, the largest
threat to these birds comes from monster collectors and not their normal
array of predators (snakes, carnivorous birds, the like). More and more
often, we find this line being bred in captivity. Too darn pretty for
their own good.

Do you one better, the birds themselves start chirping that annoying "DEE-DO, DEE-DO" when their health is low. You can't miss it. XD
Two more, new ones this time! Balancing out all that legendary/ancient/zenith nonsense with some good old Regulars! 8D *cause seriously, guys. Not everything needs to be a legend!*
Lizbulb is one of the smaller and more common monsters in the world. He
scurries along fence posts and is even capable of clinging onto vertical
walls thanks to the small barbs on his hands and feet. The interesting
feature of this lizard, however, is the high mineral content of his
bones. Lizbulb has enough iron in his blood and spikes that when he runs
across the ground, static electricity builds up along his body. For the
lizard's own defense, it tends to gather around his tail and spines.
He hasn't gotten much bigger than his previous form, standing at perhaps
two-thirds the average human's height, but Electrizard sure knows how
to use his static! Well, at least to the extent anything could use
static electricity. This lizard spends most of his day building up a
charge on the off chance that something bigger wants to come by and try
to take a bit out of him. When threatened, Electrizard curls into a ball
and 'charges' (XD) it's enemy, doing some damage. But it's the
paralysis that this guy is trying to take advantage of, escaping while
the opponent is disabled.
