Flying enemies are affected by ground attacks?

Is Earth power supposed to do this?

I thought monsters that fly are not affected by such moves.

Unfortunately ground moves affect flying monsters which it's not suppose to <.<

a lot of people were talking about this on the game chat and i agree with kuro, earth shaker is too powerful to no be able to get around. >_>..
