Just straight forward. Battle animation automatically on/off option in the control panel.

you mean completely turn off battle animation at control panel ?
Having the option to go to control panel to also turn on/off the battle animation
Have an option to turn it off completely, whether you sign out and in or not. It will remain off until you change it back.

This would be better I think, like something that's stored serverside with the account info.
