Ok, Vietboi and I have done a little bit of testing on this and we're wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue. Let me set it up for you. It concerns the Razor Claw held item and Crystal held items.
Here's their descriptions:
Razor Claw: Increases holder's physical category moves base power by 30% but decreases special category moves power by 20%.
*Type* Crystal: Increase *type* moves base power by 25%.
From the descriptions you'd expect that, say, a physical light move with BP 100, would become:
130BP with Razor Claw
125BP with Light Crystal
This obviously would lead to the conclusion that equipping Razor Claw would lead to more damage.
In the testing we conducted this was obviously not the case. Light Crystal lead to quite a bit more damage in some cases and at least a bit more damage on average.
So, anyone else notice this? (Can you all test it out too?)
