You're forgetting ghost in the list, and if anything ghost should be phantom. Maybe dark could stay the same. Otherwise, I support this. I think it'd be a good idea to distance ourselves from Pokemon a little more.

Ice monsters can't get frozen status problem from the start. :/

I support and maybe fire can be Pyras rather then Pyro

Eh...nature could apply to a broader range of types than just grass. Maybe "flora" or "gaia" for grass?

Just noticed that the list is also missing normal. and all I can think of are things that sound ridiculous. "Plain", "regular", "vanilla" haha! Normal might be the only one that wouldn't hurt to leave as is =/

i am okay with this idea, but some of the names need to be refined. like the ice - frozen, and the grass - flora.

well they are already going to be confused. changing types is not going to confuse them lol,changing stuff like this will keep them from asking is this pokemon and pokemon related questions
