Well I was bored and tried to search the web for any info on on our server being down and found a bunch of posts cefurkan made on various websites looking for advice:

Prevent further attacks LOLOLOL.

You cannot stop a DDOS attack, because
1. Not against the law
2. Not traceable.
3. Uhh yeah. upgrade your server or counterattack. basically all you can do
