I don't know who or for what reason but our game server was attacked with 13 gbit DDos
Because of that the server hosting provider shut down game until 9 am gmt tomorrow :

With additional hidden ip i got backup every data just before the shut down on my local computer. So every data is safe right now.
I hope attack was random and not continue. Ty.
Ps : So game should become online 9 hours 38 minutes later.

Cefurkan, i dont want you to worry but smashboards was experiencing similar issues from DDos attacks and it continued off and on for the better part of a week or longer IIRC, so the site may go up just to go down again later, so for safety i'd make sure to do a lot of backups in case the attacks continue

yes one another site i know is also down. probably attacked as well. yes it may continue. i will get backups frequently. but if it get too frequent hosting provider my cancel my server. we can always move another server but i hope it does not happen

Sometimes those sites are used as rally points, obviously someone had reason to attack.
ugh as i recall there were attacks on specific sites happening , like with smashboards there was one attack on the entire community or something like that

I highly doubt this site attracted that much attention that they would target you.
It's possible that a new form of High or Low Orbit Ion cannon has been developed and is being tested. With the current form of High Orbit Ion Cannon I could drop the site here with 10 computers. That's just one person on ten machines (none of which were powerful). So if you had 3 or 4 unhappy people, they could easily have DDoS'd you.
I'll check around with Alex S., Celtic Brony, and their whole group of ... questionable people. if some new software has come out I'll know in a day or two.

No, I've purchased all of the episodes on Itunes and also have a copy of the Derpy hooves Episode before they edited her
