I see the sideways epic smiley, but not the lapris head x.X
it is very abstract, the brown rocks that form the boundary roughly shapes the head and body.
the additional rock above the smiley came off as the horn to me, and basically the grey part of north docks is the shell..
but if i have to explain it like that, i guess you couldn't pass it as lapras.

Its not that I don't understand what you are pointing out, It's that I am saying that It doesn't looke like one to me. I kinda see what you did there but it just doesn't hold the same look.
