I thought I'll post up some drawings. ^^ Doesn't matter how rude your critics are as long as it helps me to improve in my art skills. :3


Here's some monsters I made. I didn't name them or gave them a type yet.

Alright, time to review this.

I like the concept, but the monster does not fit with our, style?

it seems different, like mixing digimon with pokemon. it needs some touching up for sure, but it has potential, just needs to look more uniform before it is put in game.

Good drawing, but lacks visual uniformity.

I like it a lot. Very Talented.
As far as improving I think you could try some shading and clean up your lines a little bit. I agree-ish with Nitz that your design doesn't really match with the game, but neither does mine, so whatever. Just keep improving . Good luck!

Like the update. First one still needs shading and maybe a lighter grey for your base color so we can make out the mouth and oother lines? Also make your outlining lines thinner and I wouldnt lose the purple orb things around it like it had before. Looks good.

Thanks about the base color to a lighter color. I couldn't really tell cause of the laptop. *adjusts*
I was planning to shade after I get the design down, but I will shade if you want me to. c: As for the lines, that's the 2nd size. o3o The first size line I don't like very much. Kinda strains my eyes. x.x I mostly use it to make sprites. Scratch that. The lines are gonna be thin when the design is fine and I'm gonna redraw it in GIMP which I can actually scale the line.

You are doing a great job shading and trust me when I say you will get better with practice.

If I were you I'd change up the face (eyes, snout) a little PM if you want a more detailed explanation.

The snout is sooooo much better! I love the eyes but I would make them bigger and dont forget eyebrows for expression! You are definately improving, congrats!

Yeah I drew the last two on paint. The first one was drawn in GIMP.

I started sketching the second evolution design. I ended up drawing two sketches.

Added something to the orbs on evolution one. I tried to making it look like their glowing xD

I like the second one.

You need to make sure it has more of a Monster look than a cat look

Maybe instead of the grey in its fur you could have more of a glowing neon color to make it look more Monster-y. Just a thought.

I kinda lost interest on doing the other two evolutions today. xDD; and kinda make the first evo not look so much a cat. >>;
So I kinda went ahead and did fan art(?) and drew me and my starter pokemon, Pandark. xD

You gotta call one Feeline. Like Feeling, you know with the hands... and it's a cat.....
