I rather watch the movies.

Those books are like.. 2000+ pages r.r

they are rather long books but i like them

real fans read the whole book. the movies completely fail in comparison to the books,like all series adaptions

The Harry Potter series is very enjoyable, I highly recommend the books to everyone. The whole atmosphere of the books and the magic make them a great series. J.K. Rowling really is a phenomenal author. Also, I'm going to have to agree with Orboknown on how the movies pale in comparison to the books. Honestly, if you want the full experience, read the books. I'm sure you will find time to read this amazing series.

The movies are such a disappointment compared to the books - the books are just fantastic! I've read the whole series more than 20 times each book and I love it, you really get sucked into the book and you feel what Harry is feeling. I'd definitely recommend the book series over the films.
