I've no idea if it was suggested. (Not on the first page of this forum section as far as I can tell.) I can do away with most of fancy improvements, but for this one:
Personalised MonsterDex. What would it do? It'd basically show you only the monsters you've seen or caught. It'd be spoiler-proof. As it's not Pokemon, I'm not familiar with any of the creatures I see here, except for the ones I've already encountered. And so, I want a wow factor to be available to me. I wanna see beasts in battles before I see them in MonsterDex. Info about monster's evolutionary stages on their page is okay. I don't mind it at all.
Let me know if it's doable. And thanks a bunch for a lovely game. :)

What I meant to say is that it's slightly spoiling my fun when I browse through all the monsters in my MonsterDex to see which I've already caught and which I haven't, and I see all the creatures I haven't even encountered in game before. It'd be a great enhancement.
well... you're right about it not being pokemon but...this isn't a video game its an online mmorpg how else are we going to know what monsters there are where to find them their moves they can learn etc.. i mean its not like we can sell strategy guides on them in stores. if this idea where to happen...then.. people will be lost as about all the stuff i mentioned.
err..what if you wanna check a monsters page before you encounter it so you know whether or not to get it?
so we could maybe make a filter option but redoing the whole monsterdex to fix this wouldnt be in our best interests
unless we can do it like this
before we login it would have what the monsterdex currently has then after we login the monsterdex would be like this idea.
then we would have to logout everytime we want to check a monster we havent encountered yet ._.
plus this would be a PITA to code.

There are 2 ways to enter the MonsterDex:
1) Through Misc tab. That could be the general MonsterDex with all info and "spoilers".
2) Through the in-game icon in your menu. This could be a "personalised" MonsterDex.
I know it's not of highest priority to code this as the game is still in beta (right?) and there may be bugs that should be taken care of asap. But still, I'd love to see this feature implemented some day.
And by the way, I prefer collecting monsters to just getting the best ones. ;P Oh, and thanks for quick (aka instant) replies.
