I think the only problem Excadrill will have in Ubers is the fact that since Kyogre and Groudon are prevalent, it's going to be difficult to keep Sandstorm up. It definitely shouldn't be underestimated though, because it still is incredibly powerful and can rip through teams that are not prepared for it. Thundurus has the ability Prankster which really will cripple Pokemon that want to revenge kill it. However, it's weak to Stealth Rock which puts it at a significant disadvantage, and it's also pretty frail.

Excadrill was fun in Ubers. Generally, though, special defensive Ho-oh and physical defensive Resttalk Will-o-Miss Whirlwind Giratina had already killed the opponent's team enough so that Excadrill really had nothing to do.
Although it would've been nice for Sand Rush+Sand Stream to be banned instead, so I could use Excadrill in UU (I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped, weirder stuff happens all the time now). XD
