This thread is to discuss the world order of earthquakes and unusual/unexpected ones.

Has anyone expected an earthquake to hit Virgina? It was a 5.6 scale I think.

I felt it in New York and I heard that it even stretched up to Canada. On the NY News, they only said that the Virgina Earthquake reached up to Rhode Island but it also reached past Maine into a small part of Canada.

the one that hit virgina also caused damage to a washington memorial. Virgina has suffered from small quakes before so its not to suprising. (largest in virgina was a 5.9)
