cannot evolve copperva

hi, sorry if this is not the right place to ask this question. I'm unsure if this is a bug or I am understanding the evolution improperly.

I am trying to evolve Copperva. On the Dex page, it says it must reach level 44 and have "Maximum 57 battle loss." I assume this means it must have lost 57 battles, so I did that and leveled it to 44 but it says I still cannot evolve it and it hasn't reached 57 losses. Did i do something wrong? pls help cuz i wanna evolve it

it means it should have less then 57 battle losses

Oh, alright. I wish it were written clearer (it should say "have less than x battles lost") since I wasted some time doing that for nothing, but I will try again.
