Why dont we have more weather conditions?? It could add more strategies:
If this is implemented radiation might dissapear, because the combination: radiation+weather could be deadly.
And actual weather conditions need to dissappear to add this ones.
Weather conditions (Apart from cloudless)
Sunny
Effect: increases the power of Fire/Light type moves by 50 %
Decreases the power of Water/Ice moves by 50 %
Routes where it is encountered naturally: Fire/light zones (all year)
Heavy rain
Effect: Increases the power of Water-type moves by 50%.
Decreases the power of Fire-type moves by 50%.
This coul be implemented maybe at spring/summer in grass zones, lakes, and water zones. (specially those with lakes). Maybe at electric zones too.
Sandstorm
Effect: Damages all monsters that are not Rock-, Ground-, or Steel-type.
Routes where it is encountered naturally: Ground, Rock zones (all the year) and Steel zones (only in summer)
Hailstorm
Effect: damages all monsters that are not Ice-type.
Routes where it is encountered naturally: Ice zone (all the year except summer) and maybe others at winter.
Shadow Sky:
Effect: damages all monsters that are not Shadow type.
Routes where it is encountered naturally: Shadow zone.
Fog:
Lowers Accuracy of all monsters battling.
Areas where it is encountered naturally: Flying zones (at mornings)
- Maybe adding more abilities that could benefit/start this weather conditions (like in pokemon)
- Adding moves benefited from this conditions.

I actually don't like this idea, mainly because it would just make this game too much like Pokemon. I mean, I already saw the post about "Berries" and I'm not really a supporter of that one either. I like how this game is LIKE pokemon but has it's distinguishable differences..

We already do have 'Cloudy'/ 'Cloudless' but they don't really have much effect on the game apart from a few moves...
This idea seems interesting... but I definitely agree that this + radiation would be way too OP. However, I don't think radiation should disappear since it is one of the best monster abilities and one of the few ways to combat later arenas (they are all indoors so no weather effects there).

How about we have weather conditions that boost the power of moves or decrease others, but not damage the monsters? That way we could still have radiation

Boosting/reducing move power equates to doing indirect damage.

It would be better if the game moves away from pokemon, and more into it's own thing.

i was thinking, if we have the weather conditions, we will also need seasons.

and how about implementing different weather in different maps? maybe we could have torrential rain in Desert Oasis

I like this idea. Having special hard to catch monsters come out on certain weathers would be awesome as well.

I'm not sure how weather is being implemented right now (whether it's random each time you enter battle or not), but it would be neat if weather was at map level and while walking through the map you could see what the weather is currently like (ex. have the weather posted beside the game clock). Then, thinking outside the box, weather could maybe also influence encounter rates of certain monster types (for example fire type monsters being much rarer in "heavy rain", while being much more common in "blistering heat"... if those were weather types that is)... this might be too hard to code.

Wow... we have natures,abilities,weather and stuff. How about a rival like Red or something like it but with it maybe start to move away from pokemon like if there is a second country in the game you can get a different starter from another generation.
