So I’ve been searching for a platform that allows private one-on-one video chats with strangers—without it feeling creepy or full of pop-ups. I recently tried omegla.live, and so far, I’m liking what I see.
They offer “private room” options where you can create a link and send it to someone to join directly. That feels a lot more controlled than jumping into a random public queue. Has anyone used this feature? Is it truly private, or just another filtered room?
Also, can people rejoin the same room later, or is it one-time access? I’m thinking of using it for casual video discussions with friends in other cities.
One concern I had do these private rooms still follow the same moderation rules? Or are they totally unmonitored?
Would love to hear if anyone’s had experience using omegla.live for something other than pure randomness. Can it be used as a simple, secure video link alternative?
